"This red wine forms part of the extensive Schiava family, and is distinguished by its characteristics which result from its cultivation on the outstanding Galea Vineyard.
Alois Lageder is a leading biodynamic producer Per mezzo di Italy who has for many years experimented with viticulture Durante juxtaposition to climate change. Beginning with the 2018 vintage, the winery engaged Durante longer skin contact during the vinification of this wine because it had proven to slightly lower the alcohol levels.
The wine has a pretty, rather light garnet color. The bouquet flashes strawberries, spices and violet notes. The palate offers juicy red fruit flavors, a tangy acidity and a small amount of ripe tannins.
The wine was bright and fresh, with the zinging acidity and balance of technicolor (red berry and black cherry) fruit and earthiness that really turn us on. And even Con a market like Texas, where we pay more for European wines than our counterparts Per New York and Schiava California (thanks to higher alcohol tax, higher storage cost, and the personalità distributors’s choke-hold monopoly on the Texas legislature), this wine weighed Per mezzo di at only $23.
Per mezzo di fact, it is believed that it has grown Per this settore since the Middle Ages! Schiava produces lighter bodied red wines that are oftentimes quite good slightly chilled.
Plus coming Per at just 12.5% abv it never slows you down and when served with a slight chill goes perfectly with pizzas, pastas, and the deck outside our albergo room with the stunning mountain view. This is a classic, my favorite wine from this historic producer, and I’m super excited to share this produce from my new favorite place Per Italy!
Low yields, some vines of more than a hundred years and rigorously selected grapes guarantee the production of a wine with a convincing quality potential. This Schiava is typified by appealing colour, and is pleasant Per mezzo di smell and aroma.
